Sandra Arlene Gregory, 84, of Belton, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
A graveside service will be held at Belton Cemetery on Friday, October 14, 2022, at 1:00 p.m.
Sandra was born in San Francisco, California on August 24, 1938, to Harry Evansizer and Virginia Giacomi. After graduating high school, Sandra spent many years continuing her education in Real Estate, Finance, and Law through Rockhurst, Longview, and UMKC.
Sandra was the former Deputy Recorder of Deeds for Cass County from 1991 to 1999 and the former Recorder of Deeds for Cass County from 1999 to 2010. Sandra was also a former real estate agent for Jim Branson and Associates.
In life, she was a member of the Cass County Democrats, Belton Lions Club, and Belton Historical Society. Sandra loved to bake, paint, read, garden, fish, go out for ice cream, and above all make memories with her children, and numerous grandchildren.
Sandra was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Edwin Gregory; parents, Harry Evansizer and Virginia Giacomi; son, Jackie Lee Gregory; brother, Ronald LeRoy Evansizer; two grandsons, Cody and Joseph Gregory; and granddaughter, Jessica Ileen Hamon.
Left to cherish her memory are her six remaining children, Deborah Ann Boydston (Bruce), Julia E. Smith (Gary), Gary Lee Hamon (Kathleen R. Stanford), James E. Gregory Jr. (Bridgette), Michael Sean Hamon, and Kathy Sue Watson (Don); 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Cass County Rescue Mission (Woman’s Shelter) 304 E. Wall St., Harrisonville, Missouri 64701.
