RoseAnn Shull, 89, of Raymore, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, surrounded by her loving children, daughter-in-law and granddaughter.
A private graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021, at Cross Timbers Cemetery in Hickory County.
RoseAnn was born in Cross Timbers on November 14, 1931, to Raymond Edgar Tull and Ethel V. (Stanley) Tull. After graduating high school, RoseAnn went on to further her education, ultimately achieving her master’s in education paving the path for a lifelong career as a teacher and librarian. For over 30 years, she taught in Osceola, Fristoe, Hermitage and Raymore-Peculiar schools.
In life, RoseAnn was a faithful member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Raymore. RoseAnn enjoyed antiquing, quilting, playing bridge and entertaining many friends. She was a member of Cross Timbers Connection and the Bakers Dozen Quilt Group.
RoseAnn was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 67 years, William Donald Shull; her parents, Raymond and Ethel Tull; and brother, Donald Tull.
She leaves behind her two children, Stan Shull (Diane) and Abbe Godsey (Mark); five grandchildren, Steven, Matthew (Katerina), Nathaniel, Garrett, and Brooke; great-granddaughter Alanna; and two sets of twin great-grandsons, Jude, James, Samuel and Luke.
The family would also like to thank her many caring friends and neighbors for their help and support.
RoseAnn will be greatly missed and will remain in our hearts forever.
