Marilyn M. Oehlschlaeger, 84, of Belton, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Brookdale in Leawood, Kan.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 310 Johnston Pkwy., Raymore. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Marilyn will then be laid to rest next to her late husband at Belton Cemetery.
Mrs. Oehlschlaeger was born on January 16, 1940, in Concordia, Mo., to Gustave and Martha Kueck. Marilyn is a graduate from Concordia High School and Central Missouri State University-Warrensburg. She is the former business teacher of Belton High School and retired Hickman Mills High School business teacher. She was a woman of Lutheran faith and member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, Beta Sigma Phi, Missouri Retired School Teachers, and Loosely Knit sewing club. She loved to travel with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gustave and Martha Kueck; husband, Ken; two sisters and brothers in law, Evelyn and C.R. Deininger, and Nola and Bill Fischer.
Survivors include two daughters, Kara and Dr. George Sehl III and Krista and Dr. Brian Ware; six grandchildren, George Sehl IV, Mike Sehl, Steve Sehl, Blake Ware, Trevor Ware, and Klarissa and Dayton Steffeny; two great grandchildren, Brooks and Declan Ware; six nieces; five nephews; five great nieces; five great nephews; three great-great nieces; five great-great nephews; and brother and sister in law Don and Mary Ann Oehlschlaeger.
