The public is being invited to learn more about the City of Belton’s legislative priorities during a 6 p.m. open house tonight at City Hall Annex, 520 Main Street.
Council members as well elected state representatives have been invited to attend the session, allowing constituents to ask questions and have their voices heard before the General Assembly begins in January.
City Manager Joe Wright told the City Council Tuesday night that State Rep. Sherri Gallick (R-Loch Lloyd) and State Sen. Rick Brattin both have said they plan to attend. He said he had not heard from State Rep. Michael Davis (R-Belton).
